Marcus Hale founded Oakhart in Cedar Hollow in 2009 after growing up in his father's finish carpentry shop. The company still runs on the same rule: measure carefully, write it down, and leave the house better than you found it.

Oakhart grew out of finish carpentry, not salesmanship.
Before the company became a design-build remodeling firm, Marcus was building stair rails, libraries, mantels, and custom kitchens. That background shaped the way Oakhart manages full remodels: the structure matters, but the final eighth of an inch matters too.
Five-year workmanship
Each project closes with a documented warranty file, product records, and final walk-through notes.
Written scope
Proposals identify labor, allowances, exclusions, permit needs, and timeline assumptions before contracts are signed.
